Manaslu Circuit Trek stands among the most spectacular remote trekking routes in Nepal. The trek circles the massive Mount Manaslu and passes through dramatic Himalayan landscapes, traditional villages, and ancient monasteries. The route offers a quieter alternative to many popular trekking trails while providing stunning mountain scenery and cultural experiences.
The trek lies within the protected Manaslu Conservation Area and follows the Budhi Gandaki River valley toward high mountain landscapes near the border of China. Trekkers walk through forests, waterfalls, suspension bridges, and remote villages inhabited by Gurung and Tibetan-influenced communities.
The highlight of the trek is crossing Larkya La Pass at 5,106 meters. From the pass trekkers enjoy spectacular views of Manaslu, Himlung, Cheo Himal, and other surrounding peaks. The trek also offers cultural encounters with Buddhist monasteries, prayer flags, and ancient Himalayan traditions.
Manaslu Circuit Trek combines wilderness trekking, cultural exploration, and dramatic mountain scenery while circling one of the world’s highest mountains.
